Growing up is a hard process and who better to do the teaching than four beautiful and seductive middle-aged women. Set against the backdrop of the Spanish Civil War and the early years of Franco's dictatorship, a young man sets out on a series of sentimental and erotic adventures with a number of older women, eventually discovering that freedom and passion go hand in hand.
