Private detective Germán Areta is investigating the life of a man who has apparently abandoned another man. When they both turn up dead, it seems one killed the other before commiting suicide, but Areta is not convinced. After his assistant is murdered, Areta has to chose between his desire to continue the investigation and his fear of dying for nothing.
